ABOUT THE CLASS
This two-day workshop will be focused on performing as a two person improv team (aka Two Prov!).
We'll focus on how to connect and agree with clarity, establish fun characters and locations, and perform a long form improv set with only two performers. You'll learn how to play multiple characters within a scene, how to edit, strategies for making bold choices... all without the safety net of a backline. This workshop is designed for performers who have taken at least improv 102.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Brian Hines is a recent transplant to Vermont from Connecticut, which apparently wasn’t cold enough for him.
Brian has taught and performed at SeaTea Comedy Theater in Hartford, CT for over 7 years. He was a member of multiple house teams and also wrote, directed, and performed in a variety of sketch shows. In addition to classes in CT, Brian trained at the Upright Citizen's Brigade theater and was accepted into their advanced study program.
Brian loves playing game in improv and is a fan of exploring relationships and the history of characters in scenes. His goal in classes and workshops is to make concepts as simple as possible. You can expect him to use non-improv terminology to help you learn this very fun, very strange art form.
Policies & Procedures
Covid-19 Policy: Vaccinations and boosters are recommended but not required. Masking is at the student’s discretion.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund 100% of tuition for cancellations made 14 days (or more) before the start of any class. Tuition cannot be refunded on cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the class. Contact us if you wish to cancel.
Concerns About Payment? If you have the desire to learn, we want you to have the opportunity! We frequently offer installment plans and partial or full scholarships (need-based and diversity). If you are having trouble affording this class, contact us to work out an arrangement.
