ABOUT THE CLASS
“Puns are the highest form of literature.” - Alfred Hitchcock, probably
Would you like to work on your witty wordplay? Care to craft cunning couplets? Do you quaintly quibble over quarrellous quips? Then this workshop is for you!
Learn everything you need to know about improvising puns (and probably some stuff you don’t need to know but is also cool) from our resident punsmith, Sam Kurnit. This workshop will teach you the many types of puns (from compound to zeugmas!) and go over all the tips and tricks you need to be able to come up with them on your feet (meaning both in the moment and while standing!). Put on your thinking cap and come along for the ride!
Don’t struggle to think about how lightning works — let it strike you!
