Our weekly standup open mic, hosted at Vermont Comedy Club, has been a popular Wednesday tradition for years.

Come throw your name in the hat and tell some jokes -- or just come to watch, laugh and cheer people on. FREE!

Wednesdays at 7pm, Vermont Comedy Arts presents some of the funniest long form improv teams our community has to offer! This month, local comedy group BIG GREEN COUCH hosts/headlines this wild hour of spontaneous fun, featuring different guest teams each week. It's a variety of styles and it's always a great time!

After the 7pm show, the night breaks out into an improv JAM, where absolutely anyone who wants to give improv a try can jump onstage -- and those too chickenshit can sit and watch. ;)

It's only 5 bucks (free for students!) and it beats sitting on your couch on Wednesday night. What're you waiting for? CHECK IT OUT!

We’ll start at the historic red mill in Jericho, and walk some easy trails along a gorgeous river with waterfalls. There's even a swimming hole or two. After that it gets even better. Come have the best creemee in Vermont at Palmers, walking distance from the trails. It's about a 25 minute drive from VCC, and there will be some carpooling to and fro if you need it. After the improv drop in.

Nathan Hartswick and Natalie Miller will co-host this formal awards ceremony, which will include such categories as "Best One Liner," "Best Improv Team," "Most Strenuous Joke," "Biggest Comedy Superfan," and many, many more!

We'll have prizes, paparazzi, and plenty of punchlines. It's free and open to the public! (Ticket reservations are recommended.)
